How do we restore the Confederacy as a Christian Nation when “Christians” don’t have a clue about true Christianity? I can hear the howls now! We believe in God and His Son, Jesus. We believe in the Ten Commandments.
Oh really! What about the rest of God’s law given to Moses? Do you practice it in your household and hold your officials to that law? I’ll state, flatly, that you don’t or we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in, today. I’m not holier than thou and have transgressed myself but, I’m doing something about it.
I’m trying to dig the Law out of the Bible and apply it within my household. That means the dietary law too. Dietary law! What’s that got to do with anything? It has everything to do with it. If our body is a Temple, it must be maintained in a state of cleanliness and eating unclean things putrefies it.
Unclean! What are you talking about? I’m talking about what you may and may not eat, that’s what I’m talking about. Leviticus, chapter 11, lays it out for you. There went your beef steaks, roasts and ribs as well as your hams and pork chops. There went your lobster, crab and crab legs, crayfish, clams and mussels as well. There went your catfish fish fries too!
God made all the things upon the earth and designed them for specific functions in nature. I have heard it posited that we were forbidden to eat these things because the people didn’t have the modern processing and storage technology we have, today. That’s nonsense. Smoking, drying and salt curing was as well known then as it is today. It has to do with the physiology of the beast and its interaction in the human body.
Now that we have the body cleaned up, what’s next?
We were given every herb for our use but, the Nannies and do-gooders have deigned we may not partake of certain herbs and those that do are thrown into prisons. Our prisons are overflowing with people who have committed no crime, before God. Maybe they did break one of God’s laws but, that isn’t why they are imprisoned.
This may come as a shock to “Christians” but, we do not need a single prison if we follow God’s law. His law is based on two things, death and restitution.
Murderers and kidnappers draw death with no appeal. The rest of the miscreants are to make restitution to their victims. Sometimes, restitution is two or three times the value of the stolen or damaged goods and, if they can pay the restitution, they are free to go and sin no more. If they can’t pay the restitution, they are sold into slavery for the amount of the restitution and they work it off.
Their industriousness determines their length of time as a slave. Today, States throw the miscreant into prison and pick our pockets to pay his restitution then pick our pockets, again, to pay for his upkeep in their school of advanced criminality, prison.
Jesus said; “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” This can be found in Matthew, chapter 5.
He fulfilled the law of blood sacrifice and burnt offerings. Everything else is still in full force and effect and those who deny it are denying Christ, himself.
Can we, as supposed Christians, afford to deny Him? Can we deny His Father, the living God, and survive? The answer to that question is staring us squarely in the face, today. When we obey God’s law, evil flees. When we ignore God’s law, evil flourishes and the hand of evil is about to destroy us.
We must restore the Confederacy as a Christian Nation and get our affairs in order by restoring God’s law in our land. We must drive those who do not believe from within our midst and those who preach their “civilizing” ways must go too. Their civilization has turned evil to good and the world on its head.
The question is, do the Southern, Bible Belt, Christians have the will to totally return to God’s law? I believe we can and we must for the sake of our children.

As a Christian Confederate I do see the value of learning what The Mosaic Law has to say regarding the way the Israelites were commanded to live. But I also understand that the primary purpose of God giving His chosen people The Law was to show them His high standard for mankind, and while we should do all we can to come into compliance with God's standard it is impossible for us to fully do so, hence the purpose of Christ's sacrifice.
ReplyDeleteFor our CSA government to require that of all citizens would be both hypocritical and difficult to enforce. I would not support a legal system strictly developed from Mosaic Law. Rather the concept for each individual to judge for themselves what moral law they should hold themselves to I believe is the obligation of every Christian and something that is often not taken seriously.
I rely of the Grace of my Lord Jesus Christ who established a law of love, one of forgiveness and openness with our Creator. It is the ultimate duty of each Christian to pursue God's love and to display it and to take it to all the world.
It is not the duty of government to do this, but it is the opportunity that a government established by Christians affords Christians to pursue God's will without harassment or impediment. I further do not believe that it is the duty of a government established by Christians to extradite all non-Christian peoples, but rather a Christian nation should be a place to influence non-Christians, impacting them through the peacefulness of our society. In such a nation it would be the responsibility of the citizens to only elect Christian leaders in an attempt to prevent otherwise worldly leaders from taking control and abusing power.
This may be semi-Utopian thought but if we really want it we can achieve it.
This post is a complete theological mess. I doubt that my comment will be allowed to remain here, but just in case it does, my response to Mr. Joyce's arguments may be read at http://www.crownrights.com/store/reconstruction.php
